Dear Mr. Buckley,
A strange thing happened when the multitudes milled around Jesus
after John the Baptist, his cousin, was put to death. Besides
thinking that Jesus was some prophet raised up, like Elijah or
another Jeremiah, the people also thought that Jesus was John
the Baptist raised up! [Matt. 16.14; Luke 9.19]. Suddenly two
men appeared along the Jordan river, the first of which was John
the Baptist, followed by Jesus (whom the Baptist baptized). John
first began preaching as a voice in the wilderness, saying, Make
way for the Kingdom of God; and after Jesus was baptized He too
preached the Gospel of the Kingdom, gathering disciples behind
Him. Two Passovers later John the Baptist was beheaded and Jesus
began his ascent from Galilee to Jerusalem, where He also would
be put to death.
How, then, could anyone think that the Spirit of John the Baptist
had risen anew in Jesus?
This confusion can be answered by the Gospel which Jesus taught.
He, following the Baptist, taught the coming of the Kingdom of
God. But they were not the first to teach the Gospel of the Kingdom, for only a few hours walk from the place
John the Baptist was baptizing, was a commune known to us as the
Essenes, who left a buried Witness to us called the Dead Sea Scrolls.
In the heart of the Dead Sea Scrolls is the concept
of the Kingdom of God brought throughTwo Messiahs
(which follows Zechariah 4.14 and the common understanding of
the times reflected in the Oral Torah). The Gospel of John also
addresses the Messiah in the [genative?] plural, saying:
John 1.41 He first findeth his own brother, Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiahs, which is being interpreted the Christ [Christ means Messiah or Anointed One ; in this case Messiahs is used, which is plural].
The conversation and confusion over Jesus and John the Baptist,
as revealed in the gospels, also shows that Two Messiahs were
expected at the time Jesus was preaching along the Jordan River.
One of the Two Messiahs anticipated in the Dead Sea Scrolls
was a person called the Teacher of Righteousness. His voice in the Dead Sea Scrolls manifests
a level of consciousness much higher than the heralds we called
forth in the Preface to this work. For the Teacher of Righteousness
had risen to the level of David; more so, he saw himself [returning]
as Melkizedeck, the Priest-King of Salem who was neither born
nor died but lived eternally. His name is composed of two parts:
Melki , meaning King, and Zedek
or Zadok, meaning righteousness.
The Essenes' mission, according to the Teacher, was: to separate
themselves unto the LORD; to make way in the Wilderness for the
coming King-Messiah, of David; and to preserve and protect the
Law of Moses in anticipation of the King-Messiah, as Zadok the
High Priest did awaiting King David's return from exile out of
the wilderness (one of David's hide-outs was at Engedi, an area
a few miles south of the Essene Commune). The Essenes called themselves
by the name, Sons of Zadok, following Ezekiel 44.15, which says
that the Sons of Zadok shall be the ministers unto
the Lord [Messiah] when He comes. They thus dedicated much of
their liturgy to that end, preparing the way for the King-Messiah
of David.
page 2
Apparently in the Dead Sea Scrolls one of the Two Messiahs, whose name is The Teacher of Righteousness, of Aaron, had already come, then returned to Heaven, and they were awaiting Him again. He wrote a Book of Hymns (and may have inspired others to add to the book, following after the manner of the Psalms of David). This is a sample of what he wrote:
Book of Hymns, IV.20
So, for mine own part,
Because I have clung unto Thee,
I shall yet arise and stand upright
Against them that revile me;
And my hand shall yet be upon all
That hold me in contempt.
Though Thou show Thy power through me,
They regard me not.
Howbeit, Thou in Thy might
Hast shed upon me the Perfect Light,
And bedaubed not their faces with shame
That have let themselves be found
When that I sought them out;
Who, in a common accord,
Have pledged themselves to Thee.
They that walked in the way Thou desirest
Have hearkened unto me
And rallied to Thy cause
In the Legion of the Saints.
And Thou wilt vindicate them
And plainly show forth the Truth..
Through me hast Thou illumined
The faces of full many,
And countless be the times
Thou hast shown Thy power through me.
For Thou hast made known unto me
Thy deep, mysterious things,
Hast shared Thy secret with me
And so shown forth Thy power;
And before the eyes of full many
This token stands revealed,
That Thy glory may be shown forth,
page 3
And all living know of Thy power.
V.10 Thou hast sheltered me, O my God,
In the face of all mankind,
And hidden Thy teaching within me,
Until it be shown unto me
That the hour of Thy triumph is come.
V.15..Moreover, to show forth Thy power in the sight of all men,
Thou hast singled me out, a hapless wretch,
And worked a wonder in me..
VI.10 Thou hast acted for Thyself and for Thy glory,
That the Law may come to fruition,
And hast sent among mankind
Men that be schooled in Thy counsel
To tell forth Thy wonders through the ages,
World without end,
To rehearse Thy deeds of power without surcease,
That all nations may know Thy Truth,
And all peoples Thy Glory.
VII.1 Lo, I am stricken dumb,
For naught comes out of men's mouths
But swearing and lying.
My arm is wrenched from its socket,
My foot is sunken in mire;
Mine eyes are dimmed from looking on evil;
Mine ears are deafened from hearing of bloodshed;
My heart is numbed with thinking on evil
For wheresoever men show
The temper of their being,
There is the spirit of baseness.
VII.10 Thou hast brought me into Thy covenant.
Words flow free on my tongue,
As it were trained by Thee,
While the Spirit of Havoc stays speechless,
page 4
And the reprobate open not their mouth.
Through me Thou hast kept Thy pledge:
'False lips shall be stricken dumb'.
All them that challenge me
Thou makest to stand condemned,
Distinguishing through me
The right from the wrong...
VI.24..and all that contend with me
Are as chaff before the wind.
VII.26 I give thanks unto Thee, O Lord,
For Thou hast given me insight into Thy Truth
And knowledge of Thy wondrous secrets.
X.5 What is man, mere earth,
Kneaded out of clay,
Destined to return unto the dust,
That Thou shouldest give him insight into such wonders
And make him privy to things divine?
As for me,
I am dust and ashes.
What can I devise except Thou hast desired it?
And what can I think apart from Thy will?
X.35 Howbeit, when I hear tell
How Thou wilt yet come to judgment
Along with Thy stalwart angels,
How Thou wilt yet enter suit
In company with Thy host of Holy Beings,
My heart is sorely racked..
And I am full stricken with terror.
XII.24 Only to the measure of each man's knowledge
And to the meed of his understanding
Hast Thou given men access to Thee,
To serve Thee in their several domains,
Even as Thou hast assigned their roles,
But never to overstep Thy Word.
XII.25..And how can such dust and clay
Give answer to Him who shapes it;
Or how understand what He doeth,
Or how stand before its Accuser?
Even the Holy Angels,
page 5
The everlasting spirits,
The reservoirs of glory,
The wellsprings of knowledge and power,
-Even they cannot tell forth all Thy glory,
Nor stand against Thine anger,
Nor answer Thy charge.
For Thou art ever righteous,
And none can gainsay Thee.
How much less, then, he who returns to his dust?
XIV.14 The nearer I draw to Thee,
The more am I filled with zeal
Against all that do wickedness
And against all men of deceit...
XIV.15..I will not countenance evil,
Neither recognize fraud.
Fragments 15 Thou hast wafted Thy Holy Spirit
Over these humble servants of Thine,
Clearing away all guilt
And purifying them,
That, along with Thine heavenly host,
They too may minister to Thee,
And, stayed upon Thy Truth,
Walk upon level ground
And stray not from Thy presence.
These men hast Thou singled out, O my God,
To bear witness to Thy glory..

Some "scholars" have suggested that the Apostle Paul
was among the community of the Essenes. He may have spent some
time there, when he was a Jew on the way to Damascus; but when
he shifted his teachings against the Jews and the Law of Moses,
he would have been bodily thrown out of the Essene community had he entered it. Others suggest that Jesus might have been among the community of Essenes His dialogue on Truth strongly suggests it but their Manual of Discipline would have been too restrictive for Him in the end. Others around Jesus probably were associated with the Essene Community, however. When the Apostle John (whose Revelation and Gospel recalls that of the Essenes) stood behind Jesus at the time John the Baptist was baptizing Jesus, John the Apostle called Jesus Rabbi, meaning teacher
or master, telling us that Jesus was already
recognized as a Rabbi of the area. Yet, John did not know where
Jesus lived, indicated by the verse, when Jesus answered him,
saying, Come and see. And then the Gospel of John also opens with
the declaration by John the Baptist, acknowledging his cousin
Jesus as the Messiah, as one whom he had not known (John 2.31)
etc. Later the Baptist, while in prison, sent disciples to Jesus,
asking if he is the Messiah (Matt. 11.3). What is going on here?
Sorting out differences between the Baptist and Jesus.
When John the Baptist and his many disciples baptized along the
Jordan river for at least the first year of Jesus' ministry, they
spent most of their time in the south Jordan near the Dead Sea
Community. In contrast, Jesus and his disciples moved north along
the Jordan near Jericho and then went on to lead an itinerant
life-style. Jesus taught his disciples to seek shelter wheresoever
they are welcome, avoiding permanent shelter, carrying neither
purse nor personal belongings beyond that which covered their
bodies. John the Baptist's ministry, however, had a greater affinity
to the monastic way of life of the Essenes; and we have enough
comparisons in the Gospel of John and in Jesus' teachings as a
whole that Jesus probably adapted much of his precepts of the
Kingdom of God from the Baptist and that Gospel
has many of its source precepts and epithets, such as the Sons of Light, the Gospel of Truth, the Elect, New Covenant, etc. among the Essenes.
Awaiting Melkizedek (Psalm 110.4; Heb. 5.7). One of the
peculiarities of the Essene's version of the Kingdom of God is
that the Teacher of Righteousness is an eternal
soul, quickening again and again, being like Melkizedek, to lead
men along the LORD's path, away from the Sons of Darkness of
the liar, Belial (Satan's agent; also spelled Beliar).
Others in Scripture like this are Elijah who not only did not
see death but was forecasted to come again (Malachi 4.5), Enoch
and Methuselah. Jesus insisted on calling his cousin, John the
Baptist, Elijah, though the Baptist said he was not Elijah.
page 7
Interestingly, among Buddhists is the idea that Buddha was and
yet can be born anywhere in the world at any time to set men back
upon the right path. When incarnations of the Buddha (Bodhisattvas who dedicate the activities of their future and present lives to the task of saving the world) die, immediately Buddha takes up another residence in a new child.
Since the Teacher of Righteousness is a Spirit of
the LORD which moves aeon to aeon, doing the will of God, it is
possible that those familiar with the Dead Sea Scroll liturgy
would expect him, assuming he had been in John the Baptist, to
reappear immediately upon his death-in Jesus. Likewise, those
in the area of the Essenes may have thought that Jesus was a reincarnation
of that teacher, resulting, therefore, in the connection in Hebrews
5.7.
The first exclamation of Andrew (who stood behind John the Apostle
whilst Jesus was being baptized by the Baptist) to his brother
Simon (St. Peter), on returning home, was that he had seen the
Messiahs. One of them, in keeping with the expectations of the
times, would have been the Messiah raised unto Aaron: the Teacher of Righteousness, Melkizedek redivivus .
Next to him in the Essene Doctrine was the lay Messiah unto David.
Jesus, from the outset, claimed to be the Son of David and was
not questioned on that claim. He said that the Comforter was in
Him, but also referred to another Comforter (The
Spirit of Truth; John 15.26; 16.7-15). The Dead Sea Scrolls
, "Community Rule," refer to the Messiahs of Aaron and Israel (Judah); in the same context (i.e. the High Priest Messiah has first ranking) as the Testaments of the Patriarchs
[Reuben 3.11, Judah 4.2, Benjamin 2.26, 27].
The Lay Messiah
It is interesting that the Gospel of John says that Jesus did not know how to read (in spite of the fact that the gospels witness that Jesus read Isaiah 61 in the synagogue, etc.). Jesus knew the Scriptures and Oral Torah and their midrash quite well [see From Dust & Ashes to Joy ]. Christ's progress in acquiring the Word, as to how He was taught, is easily seen:
John 5.20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that Himself doeth: and He will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
page 8
Being taught of the LORD, we shall address more herein. The phrase, greater works, follows:
Psalm 71.7 I am a wonder unto many; and Thou art my strong refuge.
Odes of Solomon 41.8 All those will be astonished that see me. For from another race am I: for the Father of Truth remembered me..
Isaiah 29.14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do .. a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of the wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
Isaiah 28.21..that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
28.22 Now therefore be ye not mockers..for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption..
Micah 7.11 In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed.
7.15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto Him marvellous things.
7.16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
We had several openings to this phenomena. We compared the Orthodox, monastic teachings to the Hymns of the Teacher of Righteousness, how He too relegated Truthfulness to the highest intellectual level known to man, which is of God. When Jesus was being interrogated by Pontius Pilate, in answer to Pilate's question, Art thou a king then? Jesus said:
John 18.37 ..Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice.
From Christ's point of view the Holy Scriptures are the Truth,
and any Jew who denied them as being not of the Truth (as
in the case of Paul) was condemned for the reasons mentioned in
On the Breakage of the Holy Catholic Church , which, to
some degree, we must revive again. For this is a day of decision,
which now potholes the Office of the Pope: how it embraces the
Truth. Whilst waiting for your Bishop's answer, either a yea or
nay, [re: James 5.12..lest ye fall into condemnation] whether
Paul lied to King Agrippa: when Paul denied that he had said anything
against the Jews or their law, when we showed considerable evidence
to the contrary, we continued upwards but then spied below
us a position startling to our eye: that Pope John-Paul II too
had lied. We beg your attention to our inquiry, now, whether a
doctrine, founded upon a lie, is ever satisfied with just the
one lie.
Paul founded his ministry by lying and misrepresenting Christ's
Gospel to the Jews, and this, we feel, set a precedence by which
lying is now acceptable.
Within the midrash of the times leading to the destruction of
Jerusalem, we have in the Dead Sea Scrolls a Commentary on Habakkuk, focusing against a Wicked Priest who caused
the Jews to abandon the Law. A foundation in that Commentary builds
from this:
Habakkuk 2.4 ..but the just shall live by his faith.
This is how the Essenes interpreted this verse before and after the time when Paul was busy dishonoring the Law:
Commentary on Habakkuk. . But the righteous through his faithfulness shall live. This refers to all Jews who carry out the Law [Torah]. On account of their labor and of their faith in him who expounded the Law aright, God will deliver them from the house of judgment.
Building from this framework, the argument in the Dead Sea Scrolls has the objective of putting to rout the Wicked Priest-Liar who leads the Jews [Sons of Light ] from their faith. That Paul built his religion upon this same block, by distorting it is interesting (sic.):
Romans 1.17..as it is written, the just shall live by faith..
The Jews, who first heard Paul's New Covenant which defames
the Law, should have viewed him as the [another] Wicked Priest.
Ultimately Paul's foundation, being upon a lie-not an accidental
misquote of scripture, we think-stressed the credibility of Scriptural
Truth to the extent that lying on behalf of Jesus, even today,
seems to have some redeeming value. We can illustrate this by
a lie by Pope John-Paul II in his book Crossing the Threshold of Hope, which not only continues the falsehoods against
the law perpetrated by Paul but more seriously the Pope lied about
the Koran's perception of Jesus the Messiah. We thus appeal for
your and your Bishop's answer to the lying (so the murderous outrages
stemming from Paul's errant gospel can be cut-off).
Our conversation with you has always had in mind the saving of
multitudes of lives by exposing the Truth. As it is said:
page 10
Dead Sea Scrolls, "The War"..and amid the Holy Beings He Himself will appear [re: Zech. 14.1-5 ed. note] to give aid ..and He will make the truth to shine forth, bringing doom upon the Sons of Darkness and they shall surrender..
Gently guiding-so to goad our readers through the terrible facts
in support of the above, of our Great Troop - we
lightened this portion to only 59 pages!
Jesus said that the Father is in me and I in Him (John 10.38); I and my father are one (John 10.30), which stem from a foundation in the Law [Torah]; and these explain how to hear His voice:
John 14.20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
14.21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
As noted in our letter of December 12, 1993, p. 6, Jesus above reflected a precept which links to a precept recorded by Philo Judaeus:
page 11Philo Judaeus [referring first to celestial bodies]..United bodies reciprocally contain each other.
Since the Father's Word is Truth:
John 17.17 [Jesus praying to the Father] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
17.21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
we know also that the Holy Scriptures are One Word from the Father, and that Christ, the Word of God, is in that Word and the Word is in Christ. They reciprocally contain each other and thus cannot be separated. Paul attempted to separate them, and this, from the point of view of The Word, is a critical issue of Judgment, for it discovers Christ's final point: that the world will believe that the Father hath sent me . Every Jew knew, as Jesus was speaking (whether as a prophet or rabbi), that if He contradicted the Holy Scriptures, the Truth is not in Him [re: The Mehl Commentary Part II, p.23]:
1 John 2.4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
In the comment noted in John 17.21 Jesus asked all men to measure him by His Testimony. If His Testimony is not consistent with the Holy Scriptures the world would have no foundation to believe He is Christ!
If Christ denied the Torah the foundation of the Holy Scriptures the Jews first could not believe Him (see our comment, To the Law and the Testimony, ch. 12), and then the world would have no foundation upon which to believe Him, for the Truth refers back to the Covenant of the Torah. One cannot declaim the Holy Scriptures even infer that they are old and passed away-without denigrating Christ's credibility first with the Jews and then to the world. For the World did not know of Christ until the Holy Scriptures described Him: when He should come and what He should do.
Christ begins with the Blessing to Abraham [see Philistia Triumph thou because of me ] which passed into the lap of Judah, leading from there to a catena of precepts that through Judah the Truth of the Father will be recognized, that everything in the Holy Scriptures came from the LORD GOD, and you will see lifted up a King-Messiah from Judah, of the seed of David, who will fulfill the prophesies of Him: to include the fact that He will sanctify many and will raise the Temple and be a priest on His throne; and His house, the House of David, shall reign in Jerusalem forever in God's stead. By Jesus' reckoning-and being consistent with the Holy Scriptures-that day would be when Israel is gathered out of the nations and redeemed to the Holy Land; and that day Jesus called His Second Coming, as a Groom come to claim his Bride and inheritance [re: From Dust & Ashes to Joy ]. Paul attacked the foundations of this Promise. How deeply he undercut that Promise is evidenced, dear Sir, in the depth of our discussion: whilst we await your Bishop to be moved to express yea or nay whether our catena is of the Truth. Shan't Christ, for instance, build the Temple of the LORD? Can your Bishop truly say, nay, to the catena our Great Troop bares?
page 12
In the past our desire has been hidden away, midst the Sons of Darkness, since it was believed that God had forever abandoned the Jews, following Paul's allegations. Since the Jews and their Law were condemned in the Pauline Church's mind [re: On the Breakage of the Holy Catholic Church ], there were no expectations that the Holy Scriptures containing all the promises of Redeeming Israel would be fulfilled through Christ. Now that many of those Promises of Redemption have come to pass (which Paul dared to claim were old and passed away), the world can no longer keep silence on these matters. Thus, we need your Bishop's answer-whether he is of the Truth.
Usually to ferret out a lie one digs up other lies. For evil people imitate Pandora's box: stuffing the same place with lies and all kinds of evil inclinations. In this instance, for edification, we opened Paul's treasure chest, and guess what came out of it? We saw with a multitude of other lies that Pope John-Paul II just perjured himself about Jesus the Messiah. To discuss this and its remedy we have to examine the things that flew out with the perjury.
As an author of a Word (which you are), you would be offended
were one to misrepresent your word (as argued before). By way
of illustration we can use your personal case file involving Grolier's Multimedia Encyclopedia. It was a surprise to me that you, Sir, are remembered in that Encyclopedia as "the Patron Saint of the Conservatives." What if, however, we saw a book written by one of your detractors which misquoted Grolier's Multimedia Encyclopedia, saying that you are a dignitary
of the Conservatives, rather than their Patron Saint? There is
a great difference between your being the Patron Saint of the
Conservatives and a dignitary. The same difference applies in
Scripture, Zechariah 4.14, where the King James Bible identifies
Two Anointed Ones [Messiahs/Christs] and a New
World Standard Bible identifies the Two Anointed
Ones as Two Dignitaries; and The Good News Bible
just calls them two men whom God has anointed to serve Him.
After the same logic we can now list Pope John-Paul II's lie:
he said that the Koran calls Jesus only a prophet
when the Koran, in fact, calls Him, Jesus the Messiah, a
Word of God .
page 13
It is true that Grolier's Multimedia Encyclopedia called you the Patron Saint of the Conservatives (not just a dignitary ). So too can we judge that the Bible lists in Zechariah 4.14 Two Christs (not mere dignitaries); and likewise can we judge that the Koran names Jesus the Messiah not just a prophet, as Pope John-Paul II alleged.
This examination though zeroing in on John-Paul II, as it were applies to most Christians in general who have trouble making a distinction whether to lie or tell the truth, whether to walk honorably or cheat. In fact the examination applies to Americans as a whole who, as said in Quest for Human Dignity, Duty and Profit, Immoral Coercion, etc., take it for granted that it is normal to lie and cheat because our greatest men and leaders of this day assume that it is normal to lie and cheat. Thus, when we question a lie (whose consequences in particular involve multitudes murdered before the threshold of hope) we receive a blank stare from most Americans. We have yet to find any American-like our forefathers-who is compelled to even examine the issues we have put to you and The Old Man of the Sea, all of which involve and continue to account to very grave consequences.
When I was midst the Sons of Heaven [re: The
String of Pearls ], the entire issue of lying focused on the Apostle Paul's lie, as he stood in judgment first. We have, as said, discussed Paul's lie before with you; but since we now address a lie which the Pope committed linking from Paul and are concerned that it will leave a permanent scar on the image of the Church, we would be derelict were we to ignore it and the context from which it grew. The Pope's lie is an easy one to see; and should we let this one go by there may never be a stop to Christian lying and deceit. We say this based upon the premise that this generation of Christians and Americans take it for granted that it is acceptable to lie and cheat (and thus would not be concerned one way or another whether the Pope should be called to account for a lie); and because of this account it follows that the next generation, who will honor Truth, may either commend or condemn the Pope based upon this Testimony and how he responds to it.
This is refreshing to them who honor Christ. Leading to the testimony relative to Pope John-Paul II's lie so to facilitate a gentle requital we should refresh your Bishop's memory a bit: how Paul set a Christian standard for lying. We call into remembrance the account of Paul's commission [from the vision of Jesus on the way to Damascus], as he told it to King Agrippa:
page 14
Acts 26.18 to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Paul's commission from Saints Peter and James and the Apostolic Council was to minister to the Gentile only, because the Law would continue to be taught to the Jews by their rabbis. Because Paul violated his commission, and taught that the Jews should abandon the Law, he was arrested and brought before King Agrippa, whom Paul acknowledged as an expert in Judaism [Acts 26.3]. Jews considered an attempt to lead them from the Torah in the same light as being led into darkness and to Satan. We have a reliable witness here in the Dead Sea Scrolls, which show how conservatives of Jesus' day viewed the matter:
Dead Sea Scrolls, "..[referring to the Teacher of Righteousness who appears again after the Age of Wrath against Israel] But those who turn from the sin of Jacob, who keep the covenant of God, shall then speak each man to his fellow, to justify each man his brother, that their step may take the way of God. And God will heed their words and will hear, and a book of reminder shall be written before Him of them that fear God and worship His Name, against the time when Salvation and righteousness shall be revealed to them that fear God. And then shall you distinguish once more between the just and the wicked, between one that serves God and one that serves Him not (Mal.3.18); and He will show loving-kindness to thousands, to them that love Him and watch for Him, for a thousand generations (Exod. 20.6)...
"But when the Glory of God is made manifest to Israel, all those members of the Covenant who have breached the bound of the Law shall be cut off from the midst of the camp, and with them all those who condemned Judah in the days of its trials.
page 15
"But all those who hold fast to these precepts, going and coming in accordance with the Law, who heed the voice of the Teacher and confess before God, saying Truly we have sinned, we and our fathers, by walking counter to the precepts of the Covenant, thy judgments upon us are justice and truth; who do not lift their hand against His Holy precepts or His Righteous statutes or His True Testimonies; who have learned from the former judgments by which the members of the Community were judged; who have listened to the voice of the Teacher of Righteousness, and have not despised the precepts of righteousness when they heard them; they shall rejoice and their hearts shall be strong, and they shall prevail over all the sons of the earth. God will forgive them and they shall see His salvation because they took refuge in His Holy Name."
Dead Sea Scrolls , "Commentary on Habakkuk"..[Hab. 10.5] Behold, the nations and see, marvel and be astonished; for I accomplish a deed in your days but you will not believe it when told. Interpreted, this concerns those who were unfaithful together with the Liar, in that they did not listen to the word received by the Teacher of Righteousness from the mouth of God. And it concerns the unfaithful of the New Covenant in that they have not believed in the Covenant of God and have profaned his Holy name. And likewise, this saying is to be interpreted as concerning those who will be unfaithful at the end of days. They, the men of violence and the breakers of the Covenant, will not believe when they hear all that is to happen to the final generation from the Priest, in whose heart God set understanding, that He might interpret all the words of His Servants the Prophets, through whom He foretold all that would happen to His people and His land.
Dead Sea Scrolls, "Community Rule"..The Angel of Darkness leads all the children of righteousness astray, and until his end, all their sin, iniquities, wickedness, and all their unlawful deeds are caused by his dominion in accordance with the mysteries of God..for all his allotted spirits seek the overthrow of the Sons of Light. But the God of Israel and His Angel of Truth will succor all the Sons of Light.
Dead Sea Scrolls , "On Melkizedek"..As for that which he said, How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah (Psalm 7.7-8). Its interpretation concerns Satan and the spirits of his lot who rebelled by turning away from the precepts of God to..And Melkizedek will avenge the vengeance of the judgments of God..and He will drag them from the hand of Satan and from the hand of all the spirits of his lot. And all the gods of Justice will come to his aid to attend to the destruction of Satan.
page 16
Dead Sea Scrolls, "Midrash on the Last Days"..Concerning His words to David, And I will give you rest from all your enemies (II Sam. 7.11), this means that he will give them rest from all the children of Satan who cause them to stumble so that they may be destroyed by their errors, just as they came with a devilish plan to cause the Sons of Light to stumble and to devise against them a wicked plot, that they might become subject to Satan in their wicked straying..
The LORD declares to you that He will build you a House (II Sam. 7.11); I will raise up your seed after you (II Sam. 7.12); I will establish the throne of His Kingdom forever (II Sam. 7.13); I will be His father and He shall be My Son (II Sam. 7.14). He is the Branch of David who shall arise with the Interpreter of the Law to rule in Zion at the end of time. As it is written, I will raise up the tent of David that is fallen (Amos 9.11). That is to say, the fallen tent of David is He who shall arise to save Israel.
Paul's Many Offences
Out the gate Paul misrepresented himself to the Jews, saying that they should abandon the Law and follow him. Also he misrepresented the LORD and His Holy Scriptures and those who sit in judgment of the Holy Scriptures, for he claimed that he was leading the Jews to light, when every Jew and Christ knew that being enticed from the Law was the same as being led into darkness; then Paul told King Agrippa that he didn't say a thing against the Law:
Acts 26.22..I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
26.23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
This testimony Paul gave in 62 A.D. We can compare it to his epistolary messages written several years before and even those after his judgment; but this will suffice:
II Corinthians 3.14 [60 A.D.] But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in their reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ.
Galatians 5.2 [58 A.D.] Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
5.4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
page 17
This sample of Paul's epistles is probably mild compared to his declamations in the synagogues. We know the Apostolic Court was greatly offended by him by judging Paul as follows:
Acts 21.21 [James addressing Paul] And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
21.24...Purify thyself!..
Paul was a liar. Worse, he cast a veil over the Holy Scriptures
so that the Christians--as a whole--have little comprehension
of Christ and what to look for in His Second Coming.
Paul was unnecessarily at odds with the Holy Scriptures
and Christ (since Christ judges by His Word, addressed later).
In fact, Paul's gospel lacks Jesus' teachings, and the reason
for this is because had Paul poured Jesus' teachings into his
epistles Paul would have been continually contradicting himself.
Paul's epistles as they are, to those skilled in midrash, were
confusing [sic. hard to be understood; see II Peter 3.16]. We
discuss this in more detail in, The Tempting, where
we describe how Paul tempted the LORD.
Now, because of Paul's lies and distortions, more lies and distortions
are heaped up-to the extent that we have difficulty holding a
reasonable dialogue with Christians on a blessing for the
9 th of Av, relating to the Ten Virgins awaiting the Groom with
their lamps full of oil, described in From Dust & Ashes to Joy.
Lies, dear Sir, hobble a reasonable discussion. We have had to
go to great lengths to expose a lie which has lain out in the
open for centuries though never [successfully] questioned. Such
is the darkness enveloping the earth.
page 18
This comes from:
John 1.5 [His] Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
3.19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
3.20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
3.21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
8.12..I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
A lesson: on the 9 th of Av Isaiah 55.6-11 is correspondingly read:
Isaiah 55.6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near [see Psalm 119.105, Light; ed. note]
Jesus reflected this, saying:
John 10.37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not..
12.35 ..Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
12.36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light..
Thus, to bless the 9 th of Av:
Isaiah 55.7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him: and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
55.8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
55.9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
55.10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
55.11 So shall my Word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
page 19
As seen in From Dust & Ashes to Joy, we
know that Christ, the Son of Truth, must reflect
this similitude: that He does not think like you and He
is sent to do the works of the Father. Those works are clearly
stated in the Holy Scriptures and can be summed by bearing witness
to the Truth; but this is complicated because of the Sons of
Darkness who are driven by interests of the world to hold in contempt
the Spirit of Truth.
The argument ultimately defers to the LORD's ability to reason
with men, to bring them to Truth. Unfortunately-to quote St. Maximos
the Confessor, Four Hundred Texts on Love [626 A.D.] concerns of the world, often expressed in rancor (we weigh Paul's and now the Pope's) hinder this:
Fourth Century 84 Christ does not want you to feel the least hatred, resentment, anger or rancor towards anyone in any way or on account of any transitory thing whatsoever. This is proclaimed throughout the four Gospels.
85. Many of us are talkers, few are doers. But no one should distort the word of God through his own negligence. He must confess his weakness and not hide God's Truth. Otherwise he will be guilty not only of breaking the commandments but also of falsifying the word of God.
89. God will make the truth known to those who have been scandalized by the slander.
83 Has someone vilified you? Do not hate him; hate the vilification and the demon which induced him to utter it. If you hate the vilifier, you have hated a man and so broken the commandment.
In our argument, the latest of which is From Dust & Ashes to Joy, we stand before the gates of Truth [sic. the Golden Gate; Jerusalem, the City of our Righteousness] that:
Isaiah 26.2 ..the righteous nation which keepeth the Truth may enter in [Re: The Mehl Commentary Part II, pp. 18, 19].
We noted how Paul blocks our gate and have referred to his betrayal of the Trust of Saints Peter and James and the Apostolic Council in Jerusalem who said to Paul [we repeat]:
Acts 21.21..thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
21.23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;
21.24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.
page 20
Whilst Paul apparently purified himself, he did it under
false pretense, for he resumed teaching against the law and the
prophets anyway.
Though Paul taught many things relevant to the Holy Scriptures
and Christ, at the same time Paul and his followers condemned
them. From our Great Troop's point of view (including Christ's)
Paul turned the noble cause of Jesus (to confirm the Scriptures)
into doubting the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures.
"Seek knowledge [in the Scriptures]," says St. Maximos:
First Century on Love , 81 If you wish to be a person of understanding and moderation, and not to be a slave to the passion of conceit, continually search among created things for what is hidden from your knowledge. When you find that there are vast numbers of different things that escape your notice, you will wonder at your ignorance and abase your presumption. And when you have come to know yourself, you will understand many great and wonderful things; for to think that one knows prevents one from advancing in knowledge.
This commentary by Saint Maximos describes the attitude and conditions we have seen in Paul, as he turned to lying before the LORD. Being contemptuous of the Holy Scriptures and Apostolic Succession, Paul failed to purify himself (of the demon in him which was causing him to lie), and he did not go back to the Jews, as required by the Apostolic Council and announce that he, being a Jew, had violated the Law and misled other Jews to do the same. To the Jews one purifies oneself by keeping the commandments (the first of which is to love the LORD (His WORD, His Law; Exod. 20.6) with all his heart, soul, and might [Deut 6.5; Luke 10.27]. Saint Maximos verifies this precept on purification:
First Century on Theology 16. He who believes fears; he who fears is humble; he who is humble becomes gentle and renders inactive those impulses of incensiveness and desire which are contrary to nature. A person who is gentle keeps the commandments; he who keeps the commandments is purified; he who is purified is illumined; he who is illumined is made a consort of the divine Bridegroom and Logos in the shrine of the mysteries.
11. No deiform soul is in its essence of greater value than any other deiform soul. For when God in His supernal goodness creates each soul in His own image, He brings it into being endowed with self-determination. By exercising this freedom of choice each soul either reaffirms its true nobility or through its actions deliberately embraces what is ignoble.
page 21
Simply stated one is purified by the Light of God. The substance of Paul's work-a tree is known by its fruit- became ignoble, resulting in the Holocaust of the Jews, which we traced in On the Breakage of the Holy Catholic Church . Because of Paul's impure doctrine, now Pope John Paul II has stumbled before Saints Peter and James and the Apostolic Council must say again (which we shall yet explain):
purify thyself!
As argued before, Paul taught that the just shall live by faith [Romans 1.17] by grace you are saved which is a misquote of scripture particularly sensitive to the foundations of the Torah.
Habakkuk 2.3 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by His Faith.
The Essenes illustrated how important this verse is and how it was viewed, that it is the LORD GOD's Faith by which the Just shall live; and the Messiah must reflect the Light of that Faith. So the Just shall live by Christ's Faith. By distorting the Holy Scriptures Paul distorted that Light, causing others to follow him into a place which leads only to darkness. Paul was not pure in his heart towards the LORD GOD, otherwise he would not have undermined the Law and the Prophets, calling them old and passed away, when there was really no cause to do so. He could have taught his message on faith without undermining the Law; since the assignment which he requested from the Apostolic Council was for the mission field of the Gentile and had nothing to do with the Jews (per his request), to wit:
Galatians 1.7 Contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter..
For the Jews had men teaching them of Moses, etc. We note again that the charges against Paul (for which he was later condemned, seen above) were that he taught the Jews to abrogate the Law; then he denied doing it. This is a truth to which the Church has yet to confess. Until it is confessed the world shall remain in darkness.
The subject of this work is to display how the impurity in Paul's
heart, which spread as doctrine to the modern Christian Church
[Pauline Church], has now left Pope John-Paul II in an embarrassing
position, as he also declaimed the law and those who honor the
law (we refer now to the Koran-a book which was written to honor
both the Law and Jesus as the Messiah [re: On the Breakage of the Holy Catholic Church Part II]).
page 22
Thou shalt not lie, the LORD said. The Church should listen to St. Maximos. Purify thyself:
Fourth Century on Love 70 If, as St. Paul says, Christ dwells in our hearts through faith (cf. Eph. 3.17, and all the treasures of wisdom and spiritual knowledge are hidden in him (cf. Col. 2.3), then all the treasures of wisdom and spiritual knowledge are hidden in our hearts. They are revealed to the heart in proportion to our purification by means of the commandments.
This comes from:
Exodus 23.1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
23.2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment.
Compare:
II Peter 3.16 [referring to Paul] As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
3.17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
Compare:
Exodus 23.6 Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of the poor in his cause.
23.7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
page 23
Saint Peter, I think, was well versed in Scripture and taught
by Christ. He kept the Gospel and understood fully how it linked
to the Torah. He was the Lord's rock, though Paulists obfuscate
the fact.
When Christ spoke of His Commandments they always inferred
honoring the Law and the Prophets. For the Torah is life choose life that ye may live [Deut. 30.19]-etc. And:
Leviticus 12.44 ..ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy..
That the Law is in thy heart:
Deuteronomy 11.18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
The LORD's Word, being Light, is revealed to our heart in proportion to our purification by the Holy Scriptures [vested in Christ's Commandments]. For Christ said:
Matthew 5.48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.
This comes from:
Deuteronomy 18.9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
18.13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
18.15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me, unto him ye shall hearken...
Hebrew script could be read with or without interpolated vowels; likewise with the precepts. If Christ said, Be thou perfect and then said that the Scriptures speak of me [re: From Dust & Ashes to Joy, Part I, p. 25], then a wise man would read between the precepts (as you did with me). We continue to hear St. Maximos:
First Century on Theology , 71 This is the treasure hidden in the field of your heart (cf. Mat. 13.14), which you have not yet found because of your laziness. Had you found it, you would have sold everything and bought that field [re: the parable of the pearl; ed. note]. But now you have abandoned that field and give all your attention to the land nearby, where there is nothing but thorns and thistles.
page 24
How true! For the Jews were told that if they abandon the Law
and do not answer when He calls, they will be scattered [see Deut.
30; Zech. 65.12] and their land turned into thistles [see Isaiah
7.14-24]. Paul's enticing the Jews to deny the Law limited his
own perception of the LORD and Christ, and we have argued, because
of his limited perception, Paul's disciples will be blind to the
voice of Christ in the Second Coming . Now there
is truth to St. Maximos' saying, leading us to see how Paul's
teaching led only to briars and thorns-as it persecuted the Jews
and since the eighth century until now the Moslems.
In shedding light upon these effects we hope that you will continue
with us, always in the Spirit of Truth; for we saw in you a righteous
man who is not afraid to converse on the Truth. Thus:
First Century on Theology , 72. It is for this reason that the Saviour says, Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God (Matt. 5.18): for he is hidden in the hearts of those who believe in Him. They shall see Him and the riches that are in Him when they have purified themselves through love and self-control; and the greater their purity, the more they will see.
Our reference is purity towards the Holy Scriptures. If you know the voice which is in them, then you will know Christ's voice. Remember that Christ complained, had you known the Father you would have known me and:
John 7.16..My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
7.17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
7.18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
It is His Faith. Thus:
Hosea 2.19 [referring to the Day when Israel is redeemed] And I will betroth thee unto me forever; yea, I will Betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
2.20 I will even Betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shall know the LORD.
2.23..And I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.
page 25
Thus, we came to findings on behalf of that Marriage,
though the darkness comprehends it not. Among those who are Betrothed
in faithfulness must be all those who honor the Law, including
by definition the Koran, which Pope John-Paul II in foolishness
condemned. He also lied about what the Koran says about Jesus.
No one is above judgment: first to the Holy Scriptures,
then to Christ, and then by our peers, according to how the centuries
of Christ's disciples discerned the obligation of upholding truth.
St. Maximos' eyes (as well as the many others in our Great Troop) emphasize the need to not only hear our complaint
but correct the error!
Here we display the complaint and note how it relates back to
the thesis of the 9 th of Av, argued in From Dust &
Ashes to Joy , where we have combined a Day of Wedding
with the Seventieth Jubilee : a day in particular
which is set aside for the forgiveness of trespasses, sins, debts
and restoration of property [re: Philstia Triumph Thou because
of me] . After the 9 th of Av is the Day of Atonement
which is called the Sabbath of Sabbaths, defined by:
Leviticus 16.29 And this shall be a statute forever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
16.30 For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
16.31 It shall be a Sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute forever.
16.34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year..
Christ is the High Priest who makes atonement on the Sabbath of Sabbaths and is Lord of the Sabbath and, as in From Dust and Ashes to Joy :
Zechariah 6.12..He shall build the Temple of the LORD.
6.13..and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and He shall be a priest upon his throne..
Sir, if your Bishop cannot honor this, how will the Church
ever recognize any signs of restoration in Christ?
page 26
Calling Jesus the Eternal Word of God without seeing
Him within the Law and the Prophets which pronounced Him carries
no light. The reason for the Holy Scriptures was so to reason
with man, calling man to the Light, that the LORD's Light is above
man's. Where there is resistance to explore this, Sir, there can
be no light; only ignorance.
St. Maximos, "Fourth Century on Love" 46 As health and disease are to the body of a living thing, and light and darkness to the eye, so virtue and vice are to the soul, and knowledge and ignorance to the intellect.
Thus far we have arrived at the point in our conversation where
we showed you that our Great Troop waits before
the Golden Gate, ready to restore the Tabernacle
and Temple in preparation for that prophesied celebration called
the Redemption of Israel, which we called a Marriage Ceremony,
because the land shall be married. In From Dust & Ashes to Joy, together with Philistia Triumph thou because
of me , we proposed the terms of that particular epiphany
of Christ and reasonable measures by which Christ's Bridal
Canopy, the Tabernacle, may be brought to the Mount
and raised. In our terms was an acceptable day and year for concluding
that ceremony. We showed how that Marriage Ceremony pertains
to all people, that all of the people in the Holy Land
are called Holy unto the LORD .
We also noted the obstacles in the way of raising the Bridal
Canopy, most of which originate in Paul's teaching. Those obstacles
include misrepresentations of the LORD's Desire: where Christ
is not recognized in the Signs which were promised to Him as the Signet Zerubbabel who rebuilds the Temple of the LORD,
for example [re: Part II From Dust & Ashes to Joy,
p.16 (Zech. 2.23, 4.7-9); p. 32 (Zech. 6.12)]. The evidence of
Paul's doubts, belittling and doing dishonor to the Holy Scriptures,
is in our correspondence, the Small Books, which
have become a very large volume.
We showed in On the Breakage of the Holy Catholic Church
, how Paul lied to King Agrippa and also appropriated
the New Covenant, and the Messiah's title, Light of the Gentile, to himself [re: Acts 13.47]. He then represented
Jesus as a god equal to the LORD and used Jesus' name to abrogate
the Holy Scriptures, calling them Old, and therefore pased away,
when, in fact, Jesus represented the opposite: of confirming the
Holy Scriptures. In line with this we judged that Paul's false
teachings must now be exposed in order for the Wedding Party [re:
From Dust and Ashes to Joy ] to proceed through
the Golden Gate up to the Temple Mount.
We have also shown how Paul's teachings have been the source of unwarranted bloodshed, leading to the recent Holocaust. Had Paul obeyed his orders from the Apostolic Council, to wit:
Acts 15.19 [James speaking] Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
15.20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
15.21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day.
there would never have been sourced in Paul (and the Pauline
Church) the Holocaust of the Jews. We showed how Paul disobeyed
the Apostolic Orders, and preached to both Gentile and Jew alike
that the Law of Moses [Torah] is no longer valid, that it is replaced
by Paul's gospel and Paul's New Covenant. We showed that Jesus
never expressed a New Covenant, nor could have, since we
also showed that the Holy Scriptures say that the time when the
New Covenant is delivered is when Israel is Redeemed from the
nations whither they had been scattered, which is now [interestingly,
in my Interlinear Bible by Hendrickson the word
for testament at the Last Supper scene is rendered
in Greek as covenant ; this, of course, needs checking
out, since Jesus, as said, was not authorized in His Day to speak
of a New Covenant, as it would have pre-empted the duty of the
Second Coming ; ed. note].
We also showed how Paul held the Holy Scriptures in contempt,
ignoring:
Deuteronomy 28. 58 [the LORD speaking to the Jews] If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
28.29 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
28.64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
28.65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
28.66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
28.68..Ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
29.1 These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab..
30.7 And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
page 28
The curse [Deut. 30.7] against the nations, who entice the Jews away from their law, who condemn the law, and who persecute the Children of Israel, was upheld among the prophets, to wit:
Isaiah 49.25 ..for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee [see also Genesis 27.29 and pp. 14,15 et al. of Philistia Triumph thou because of me ; ed. note], and I will save thy children.
49.26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Savior and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
The Redemption of the Children of Israel to the Holy Land has occurred, and now it is apparent that the LORD who confirms His Servants would be negligent in failing to reprimand those who condemned His People and His Holy Scriptures. Thus, we begin with Paul but now extend our sights to Pope John-Paul II, because he has implicated himself in misrepresentations which undermine the credibility of the Holy Scriptures (which we will show you herein). Please understand, dear Sir, it is for the Holy Scriptures that we opine this, and we offer our good conversation not out of malice but out of the love of Truth and hope you and your Bishop appreciate that Spirit: of Truth.
We listed the facts in On the Breakage of the Holy Catholic Church, how from Paul to Martin Luther there is a clear
trail of those who persecuted people under the law: including
Saints Peter and James, their Apostolic Council in Jerusalem first,
then the Jews, against whom Martin Luther said, to wit:
Luther Tract 1543 A.D. What shall we Christians do with this damned, rejected race of the Jews? Since they live among us and we know about their lying and blasphemy and cursing, we cannot tolerate them, if we do not wish to share in their lies, curses and blasphemy..Let me give you my honest advise:
1. To set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord.
page 29
2. I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed..
3. I advise that all their prayer books and Talmudic writings, in which such idolatry, lies, cursing, and blasphemy are taught, be taken from them.
4. I advise that their rabbis be forbidden to teach henceforth on pain of loss of life and limb..
5. I advise that safe-conduct on the highways be abolished completely for the Jews. For they have no business in the country-side, since they are not lords, officials, tradesmen, or the like..
6. I advise that usury be prohibited to them, and that all cash and treasure of silver and gold be taken from them, and put aside for safe keeping..
7. I recommend putting a flail, an ax, an hoe, a spade, a distaff, or a spindle into the hand of young, strong Jews and Jewesses and letting them earn their bread in the sweat of their brow..
Hitler justified his conduct on the basis of the above "advise" whose origins we traced to Paul. We witness, therefore, (as earlier shown in On the Breakage of the Holy Catholic Church ), how the Pauline Church caused innumerable suffering and bloodshed. This is a legal Testimony: how small lies can grow into a holocaust. Knowing their effects, you should agree that it is now time to put an end to those lies: for life.
We call the LORD to witness before us this day, what we have found
in Paul (and now lay against the Church). The lies perpetrated
against the Law and the Jews also endanger the lives of those
who follow the Koran, which was written to confirm the Law;
and this alone puts it under the covering mentioned in Deuteronomy
30.7 and Isaiah above. We here pronounce against the villainous
lies which persist in persecuting others and plead for their correction.
page 30
We now address the Koran, what John-Paul II said about it: that
he too has tempted those verses in Deuteronomy and Isaiah above
which condemn those who persecute the law and who persecute those
under the Law. Christ must confirm this too, as you saw, and you
shall yet see again.
Whilst we may appear severe in our judgment, the consequences
of letting stand lies against the Torah are of the nature that,
failing Truth, the LORD may vent a holocaust against the Church,
itself: against the Gentile who hold the Holy Scriptures in contempt.
We offer a means how your Bishop can escape this condemnation!
We call to mind John Stuart Mill's comment on the suppression
and revelation of Truth, cited on page 16 of Immoral Coercion, to wit:
Mill, On Liberty Ch. 2..The real advantage which truth has, consists in this, that when an opinion is true, it may be extinguished once, twice, or many times, but in the course of ages there will generally be found persons to rediscover it, until some one of its reappearances falls on a time when from favorable circumstances it escapes persecution until it has made such head as to withstand all subsequent attempts to suppress it.
Dear Sir, to present Truth, then, we must confront the lies. Heretofore, the lies against which we are manifested and have listed in our works have been hidden: thus leaving Truth suppressed and persecuted.
Having said this keeping in mind the Commandments, Deuteronomy 30.7 and Isaiah 49.25 et al. we beg you to consider what John-Paul II said against the Koran. In On the Breakage of the Holy
Catholic Church (even Part II of that document, which we addressed to the Pope) we showed how the Koran was dedicated to confirming that Jesus is the Messiah and that the Holy Scriptures are true an argument Christ cannot disclaim. Though we made
our offering in sufficient time to ward off Papal declamations
to the contrary, it seems that our effort fell on deaf ears, resulting
in the following tom-foolery:
John-Paul II, Crossing the Threshold of Hope , Alfred A. Knopf, Inc. 1994, pp. 92,93 Whoever knows the Old and New Testaments, and then reads the Koran, clearly sees the process by which it completely reduces Divine Revelation. It is impossible not to note the movement away from what God said about Himself, first in the Old Testament through the Prophets, and then finally in the New Testament through His Son. In Islam all the richness of God's self-revelation, which constitutes the heritage of the Old and New Testaments, has definitely been set aside.
Some of the most beautiful names in the human language are given to the God of the Koran, but he is ultimately a God outside of the world, a God who is only Majesty, never Emmanuel, God-with-us. Islam is not a religion of redemption. There is no room for the Cross and the Resurrection. Jesus is mentioned, but only as a prophet who prepares for the last prophet, Muhammad. There is also mention of Mary, His Virgin Mother, but the tragedy of redemption is completely absent. For this reason not only the theology but also the anthropology of Islam is very distant from Christianity.

..The council has also called for the Church to have a dialogue with followers of the 'Prophet,' and the Church has proceeded to do so. We read in Nostra Aetate: "Even if over the course of centuries Christians and Muslims have had more than a few dissensions and quarrels, this sacred Council now urges all to forget the past and to work toward mutual understanding as well as toward the preservation and promotion of social justice, moral welfare, peace, and freedom for the benefit of all mankind." (Nostra Aetate 3). [our bold print; ed. note]
Can we carry out that dialogue before the Church makes more of a fool out of itself and its followers? For Pope John-Paul II neglected to note the main message of the Koran:
Dear Sir, if Pope John-Paul II is sincere, he will converse with
us to rectify his very profound and shameful lie relative to the
points we listed above.
It is one thing to misunderstand, to be ignorant; but entirely
another matter if a liar, who lied about the sayings of the Koran,
never read the Koran. Considering our complaint, we hope you
will agree that this unfortunate expression from Pope John-Paul
II should have been averted-had your Bishop listened to our short
appeal in On the Breakage of the Holy Catholic Church.
We offer a lesson: that Christ can read also, that He, as well
as anyone else, can discern a lie when it manifests itself. When
the Church respects this notion we shall all prosper..
